On Thursday, a quiet capital’s neighborhood in Haiti became ground zero in a gang fight that killed at least 20 people and injured a dozen. Thousands of people have fled from their homes due to the increase in violence. The Haiti’s Civil Protection Agency said that the fighting started on Sunday in four neighborhoods, where at least dozens of houses were burned down. Violence and kidnappings arise while gangs seek for control and power in the territory. The situation scared and angered the Haitian people.
