We pray for Tibet where at least 20 people have died due to a tunnel avalanche. The snow and ice collapsed on a highway tunnel covering vehicles. Rescue workers are working to dig into deep snow to look at those vehicles that were buried. Chinese authorities have sent 1000 rescue workers and dozens of emergency vehicles to the affected area. According to the media, 53 people have been rescued so far since Tuesday. Avalanches are common in the Himalayas.
