Let’s offer our prayers for Sr Maria De Coppi, 83 years old, an Italian Comboni Missionary who was shot by terrorists in the Catholic Mission of Chipene, Mozambique. The environment in Nampula Province is one of sorrow and uncertainty since terrorists last week attacked a nearby town of Odinepa. According to Archbishop Inácio Saúre, they are afraid that another strike will happen in other places of the Archdiocese. We pray for the Mozambique people and all the religious people, especially the Comboni Missionaries, who are ministering in the area.
