We pray for workers in Bangladesh. According to a study that surveyed 1000 Bangladeshi factories which make garments for global brands, they found out that many people were paid the same price despite the global pandemic and rising costs. Some well-known fashion brands are involved in unfair practices and paying the suppliers below the cost of production. The study presented how the unfair trading practices impacted suppliers’ employment practices that caused loss of jobs and lower wages.
