We pray for the state of Guerrero in Mexico, which was struck by Hurricane Otis. The hurricane made landfall at midnight on Wednesday and rapidly intensified from a tropical storm to a Category 5 hurricane in just 12 hours, bringing winds of 260 km/h. According to authorities, at least 27 people have lost their lives, and four people are still missing. The province of Acapulco, a significant tourist destination, was severely impacted. Numerous houses, supermarkets, schools, and other infrastructure were destroyed.
