We pray for Ethiopia, where 45 citizens of the Amhara State have tragically lost their lives at the hands of Ethiopian federal security forces. This violence signifies the gravest crisis since the peace agreements in neighboring Tigray in 2022. According to the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission, civilians were extrajudicially killed by government security forces, and it is feared that the actual number of victims may be higher.
