Let’s pray for India and Bangladesh, which were hit by torrential rains from cyclone Remal. In the northeastern state of India, stone quarry collapses and landslides resulted in the deaths of around 20 people and trapped seven others. Rescue workers are working hard to cut through the stone slabs in search of survivors, despite battling heavy rains and loose soil. This powerful cyclone has already struck Eastern India and Bangladesh, claiming 16 lives and causing power outages in several areas.
