We thank God for people caring for the planet and future generations. Argentinean cloth designer, Romina Palma, observed that after rain and storms in Buenos Aires, a significant number of umbrellas were left on the streets. The project began in the Social Sewing Club, a space dedicated to community environmental education through textile craft. Romina then founded Cazaparaguas, a startup dedicated to reusing umbrella fabrics by creating jackets and ponchos. Upon receiving the materials, they clean and condition the fabrics, cutting them to design the clothes.
