Early this week, landslides and floods hit the Philippines after Tropical Storm Megi swept the country. At least 25 people have died. The emergency services continue the rescue work to retrieve people stranded on the southern and eastern coast. More than 13.000 people have fled from their homes to higher ground shelters. The storm with heavy rain and winds knocked out the power supply, flooded homes and fields.
