Let’s pray for Myanmar, where last week the military bombed a camp for people displaced by conflict in northern Kachin State. Approximately 28 civilians were killed, including 12 children, and the shelters, kindergarten, and church were destroyed. While human rights groups attributed the attack to the military, they denied responsibility for it. According to the UN-appointed investigative mechanism, this is not the first instance in which the military has targeted civilians and civilian areas.
