Let’s pray for Papua New Guinea where last week an earthquake hit the East province of Spik. Eight people have been confirmed dead after the magnitude 7.0 earthquake. The death toll could be much higher. More than 800 houses have been destroyed. The most affected people are those who have built their homes in swampy places. The government is providing basic tools, especially clothes, mosquito nets and water containers to ensure health care. People in the area are scared since they have never experienced an earthquake like this before.
