We pray together for the Missionaries of Africa (White Fathers), who lost Br. Simukonde on Wednesday 29 March 2023. The tragedy took place at 9pm, when he was passing a checkpoint set up by the military police. Soldiers fired several times thinking that the vehicle in which they were traveling was a threat. Unfortunately, one of the shots killed Br. Moses. The military police have apologized in an official letter to the congregation. Br. Simukonde served in Kenya, Niger, and Burkina Faso. Let’s pray for him and his loved ones.
