The Androy Region in Madagascar has become a scene of desperation due to the worst drought in the region in the last 40 years. Even though the situation got a little better with the rainfall season, it also generated destruction. The crops have been decimated by the waters, but the sun is starting to rise up again. Climate scientists warn that rising temperatures will continue to worsen cycles of food insecurity and hunger in Southern Madagascar.
