We thank God for the people who are using ancient techniques to save our common home. The Ant Studio New Delhi-based company is using the ancient technique called a beehive as an air conditioner. The technique can lower temperatures to a fraction of the energy that traditional air conditioning units use. It reduces 65% of CO2 emissions. It works with hollow terracotta cones, which are stacked to look like a beehive. They soak hundreds of stacked earthen pots in water and let the air pass through.
